1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the services provided by Icarus Tanning Salon ("Icarus," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Icarus Tanning Salon offers the following services:

• Sunbed tanning (walk-in, pay-as-you-go, and course packages)
• Beauty services including nail treatments, lash extensions, and brow services
• Retail sale of professional tanning lotions and beauty products

All services are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual who does not meet health and safety requirements.

3. Age Restrictions

Beauty services (nails, lashes, brows) may be available to individuals under 18 with parental consent. Please contact us for specific age requirements.

4. Health & Safety Requirements

Before using our sunbed services, you must:

• Complete and sign a health & safety consent form
• Confirm that you do not have any medical contraindications for sunbed use
• Follow all safety instructions provided by our staff
• Wear protective eyewear (goggles) at all times during tanning
• Wait at least 24 hours between tanning sessions

You are responsible for disclosing any medical conditions, medications, or skin sensitivities that may affect your ability to safely use our sunbeds. Failure to do so may result in injury, for which Icarus Tanning Salon cannot be held liable.

5. Payment Terms

Tanning Services:

• Pay-as-you-go: Payment is due at the time of service (cash or card accepted)
• Tanning courses: Valid for 24 months from purchase date; non-refundable but transferable to another person

Beauty Services:

• Appointments require a deposit to secure booking
• Deposits are non-refundable unless 24-hour cancellation notice is provided
• Full payment is due at the time of service

Product Purchases:

• Payment is required at the time of purchase (in-salon or online via PayPal)
• All prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Tanning Courses: Non-refundable once purchased. Courses are valid for 24 months and may be transferred to another person.

Beauty Appointments: 24-hour cancellation notice is required for deposit refund. Late cancellations or no-shows forfeit the deposit.

Product Purchases: Unopened products may be returned within 14 days of purchase for a full refund (in-salon purchases) or exchange (online purchases). Opened products cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

7. Limitation of Liability

While we take every precaution to ensure your safety, tanning and beauty services carry inherent risks. By using our services, you acknowledge these risks and agree that:

• Icarus Tanning Salon is not liable for any adverse reactions, skin damage, or health issues resulting from improper use or failure to disclose medical conditions
• You are responsible for following aftercare instructions and safety guidelines
• We are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings left on our premises

Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by UK law.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Icarus Tanning Salon or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
